An Orientalised Historiography and the Colonised Geography

The story of civilisational progress and decadence is one of mankind’s tryst with history and, an account of its capability to preserve the feats of development. It is also a constant race with time, wherein one civilisation may not cope with the changing mechanics and may stagnate, allowing others to peregrinate on to higher levels of progress. Meaning that history is not merely a monolithic linear process, rather, it is an embodiment of a multifaceted and multilayered topography that provides discursive spaces for different civilisations to scale the heights of human development. History as a multiverse, thus acts as grounds for the constant interaction of civilisations with their own destiny.
