Is Kashmir’s Autonomy History?

On 5 and 6 August 2019, President Ram Nath Kovind issued two orders removing Jammu & Kashmir’s special status under Article 370 of the Indian Constitution. Three days later, India’s parliament passed the Jammu & Kashmir Reorganisation Act, which divided the state and demoted it to two Union Territories.
