Nau Baharich Shaan Paida Kar: An Overview of the Progressive Movement in Kashmir

Kashmir has not always been the way we know it today. Till recently it had its own state flag, red in colour with a white plough at its centre. This flag represented the past struggles of its people and their aspirations for the future. It had its own Constitution till 5 August 2019, which guided the state in delivering the rule of law and the rights of the people. Kashmir has a long history of struggles and of battles, both military and intellectual.
