Criss-Crossing Theory, History and Method: New Measures of Reflexivity

Between the putative indeterminabilty of the first part of my main title – ‘Criss-Crossing Theory, History and Method’ – and the sustained flashiness of my subtitle – ‘New Measures of Reflexivity’ – there lurks a problem that I wish to conceptualise in the warp and weave of this paper. The problem takes shape particularly in the context of some recent postcolonial reiterations of theory and method, but is not limited to that milieu either, as we shall see.
