The present book is primarily about groups who are marginalised or are on the verge of it. Divided into seven parts, Annie Zaidi’s Bantering with Bandits, besides being a personal history, records the author’s experiences during her stint as a journalist. Additionally, it also contains anecdotes related to her travels through large parts of north India. These accounts are, to say the least, fascinating.
