OBITUARY : Jasodhara Bagchi

Jasodhara Bagchi (nee Sengupta), born 17 August 1937, passed away on the morning of 9 January 2015, after a period of illness subsequent to surgery. She leaves behind her husband, Amiya Kumar Bagchi, two daughters, Tista and Barnita, son-in-law Aditya Bhattacharjea (married to Tista) and granddaughter Rinku. She also leaves behind a large body of relatives, friends, colleagues, comrades, students and admirers spread all over the globe, who would be disconsolate at this untimely going. She had so much more to give.
