The current number of Social Scientist is devoted to a discussion of the Draft New Education Policy (DNEP). What is striking about these articles is that even though they have been written independently of one another, they cohere into a fairly unified and comprehensive critique of this policy. The current number of the journal constitutes in that sense a useful critical document.
