OBITUARY: Mushirul Hasan

Professor Mushirul Hasan passed away after a longish battle of over four years with the consequences of a tragic accident. He was a legendary scholar and a wonderful human being who represented our composite culture so aptly. And he did that in his scholarship as well as in his personal life. He was also a voice of sanity in the midst of increasing madness around us, always quick to rebut anything that endangered the eclectic ethos he cherished all his life.
